Learning to sit up

Learning to sit can be difficult sometimes.
Brook has been learning to sit up and she is loving it. The last week she had been so fussy, and I think it's because she was sick of seeing the world from her back.

Easter Dress

Mom made brook the cutest dress for Easter. Her 6 month "birthday" was on Easter Sunday. Trev and I thought it was kind of cool that her birthday was on thanksgiving and her 6 month was on Easter.

These are very cute pictures in her beautiful dress. Unfortunately not many people saw it because she slept all the way through Sunday school and church that morning, (in the play pen in Trev's office) but she was cute anyway.

Its Funny

I never know what will make her laugh. I guess this is funny.

Brook just had her immunizations about 2 hrs before this, so I guess those needles didn't bother her much. The Public Health Nurse was so surprised when she hardly made any noise when she got her needles. A few moments later she was back to her smiling and yelling. The Nurse and I could hardly carry out our conversation Brook was talking so much. She maybe "Babbling Brook" yet.

Trev took a course at Steinbach Bible College in March, so we got to visit with Beth and Derek for a couple of days. We had a good time. It's always fun to visit Beth and Derek.

Pastor Trevor

A few weeks ago the youth group ran the church service. The youth did music, dramas, and Trevor did the message. He looks good behind the pulpit hey?!

A few weeks Mom and I had the opportunity to cook at PVBC. We had a great time. It was really strange to drive down the camp lane. Part of me felt like I was going home, and the other part knew where home was. It was really odd.

The Thursday before I left for camp I had taken Brook to Junior Youth, where she proceeded to scream at everyone except for me. Yikes! I was really nervous about committing to cook at camp after that experience, but everything went exceptionally well. We got home Saturday night and Brook slept almost all day Sunday. I guess she was worn out from all the smiling and giggling at people. Mom did most of the work, but we had a great time.

Milo The Hair Machine

Brook has a new best friend. Her and Milo seem to have hit it off, (sort of). As long as Brook doesn't get a firm hold of him they have a good time together. I have to "de-hair" her every time, but it's fun to see Brook smile and laugh at him. Finally Milo is getting his much deserved attention.

He is such a hair machine, especially in the spring. Yuck.

Yesterday a very nice older gentleman came to my front door carrying Milo. (covered in hair I might add) He explained that he had found Milo in his garden, and that the town of Boissevain has a bi-law about stray cats. He also informed me that he has cat traps in his yard for any cat that would mess with his wife's garden. Oops. No more free range Milo.
