Mike and Jeanette made the trek out to Toba this last weekend. It was really great to see them. Chris and Nettie were out too. We had a great time "baby holding". There was no shortage of opportunities to cuddle a newborn with the twin girls and baby Daniel. Lots of fun. We even got a picture of all the grandkids, which I am sure will stay on Mom and Dad's screen saver for quite some time:)
When I came back from visiting Mike and Jeanette, Trevor had surprised me by moving the island in our kitchen. When he came back from his trip to Bethany I surprised him by doing the tile on the back splash. I am feeling very proud of the job I did! (I hope we are not awoken one night by the sound of tiles falling) It took a lot of planning, but I think it turned out pretty good.
Last weekend Trev was gone on a youth trip so Brook and I had the privilege of hosting Auntie Beth for part of the weekend. We had a great time! We ate lots of chocolate, watched movies, went for walks and just generally had a great time. Auntie Beth is so much fun!
We celebrated Mom's birthday on Sunday. We missed Chris and Nettie and Mike and Jeanette, but we still had a good time. Beth made a fantastic cake that has a German name I cannot say. I brought the roast beef and we ate and played Wii all afternoon. Grandma Pauls even did some Wii bowling!
